The Portable Negative Oxygen Ion and Formaldehyde Detector is a high-precision, professional-grade instrument for analyzing airborne negative ions and formaldehyde levels. It employs an advanced cylindrical capacitive structure to capture negative (oxygen) ions from the atmosphere, then utilizes proprietary algorithms for precise statistical calculations. This device offers stable measurement processes, rapid response times, and accurate results. It also exhibits strong resistance to electromagnetic, electrostatic, and electromagnetic wave interference, with outstanding sensitivity and capture capability for small-particle-size negative ions, delivering superior overall performance.
The FY2 Portable Negative Oxygen Ion and Formaldehyde Detector is simple to operate. Its 5.0-inch full-color display shows real-time measurement data, instrument status, and automatically calculates averages. Operators with no prior experience can perform measurements quickly without specialized training.
This detector provides real-time measurements of atmospheric negative oxygen ion concentration and formaldehyde levels in the air. It serves as an optimal tool for environmental monitoring, nano-coatings, negative ion health products, negative ion home decoration materials, indoor testing, air treatment, air purifiers, and related products requiring negative ion concentration measurement and demonstration.
The Negative Ion & Formaldehyde Detector employs the “capacitive inhalation method” principle to detect negative ions, measuring the concentration of negative ions in the air. A fixed polarization voltage is applied to the polarization plate (or bias plate) of the ion sensor (also known as the collection bucket or collection cylinder). Test air is then passed uniformly through the sensor at a preset velocity. Under the influence of the electric field, specific small-particle-sized negative ions in the air deflect and are captured by the collection plate. The collected negative charge from the ions is processed by the collector, enabling the calculation of the negative ion charge concentration value.
