This negative oxygen ion detector provides real-time measurement of atmospheric negative oxygen ion concentrations in air. It serves as an optimal tool for environmental monitoring, nano-coatings, negative ion health products, negative ion home decoration materials, indoor testing, air treatment, air purifiers, and related products requiring negative ion concentration measurement and demonstration.
The negative oxygen ion detector employs the “capacitive inhalation method” principle to measure negative ion concentrations in air. A specific polarization voltage is applied to the polarization plate (or bias plate) of the ion sensor (also known as the collection bucket or collection cylinder). The air sample is then passed uniformly through the sensor at a preset velocity. Under the influence of the electric field, specific small-sized negative ions in the air are deflected and captured by the collection plate. The negative charge quantity of the collected ions is processed by the collector, enabling the calculation of the negative ion charge concentration value.
