The Smart Seed Tester consists of a 16-megapixel high-resolution scanner and a backlighting system. The backlighting utilizes high-brightness LED lamps, with the outer frame constructed from aluminum alloy.
The software employs advanced image processing technology, designed as an embedded solution integrating distance transformation principles, morphology, convex hull detection, and other techniques.
Primarily applied in agricultural fields for crop yield estimation and seed grading, the device captures images via the high-resolution scanner. The software automatically calculates seed count, area, perimeter, length, width, aspect ratio, and other metrics. It then automatically determines the thousand-seed weight based on the scale's recorded weight and seed count. Results are output in both tabular and graphical formats for easy user review and analysis.
Users can manually adjust seed counts to ensure accuracy, save data, review reports, and export results in Excel format.
The Smart Seed Counter measures the quantity, thousand/hundred-seed weight, and average seed morphology (including length, width, aspect ratio, circumference, and area) of various smooth-surfaced grains. It employs image OCR recognition technology, image positioning, and spatial transformation techniques to rapidly identify seed counts and crop trait metrics.
Features simplified operation, user-friendly and intelligent application, and upgradeability.
Built-in bilingual Chinese-English display with one-touch switching for seamless integration.
Imaging characteristics: Equipped with a 16-megapixel color scanner featuring auto-focus and an ultra-thin backlight panel. Automatically corrects camera image distortion and ensures uniform backlight distribution, effectively minimizing dimensional measurement errors.
Backlighting System: The intelligent seed tester utilizes high-brightness LEDs driven by a power supply. Combined with a nano-light guide plate and reflective materials, this design ensures clear backlighting with no shadows on seeds. The aluminum alloy outer frame offers an aesthetically pleasing, sturdy, and distortion-resistant construction.
Seed diameter range for imaging analysis: 0.5–20 mm. For rice seeds, viable grains and empty grains must undergo air-winnowing before separate counting and analysis to determine grain setting rate.
Automatically measures individual shape parameters (length, width, aspect ratio, area, perimeter) for all types of adhered seeds. Measurement error for all seed dimensions ≤ ±0.1 mm.
Counting accuracy and target size: 1–2000 seeds/batch, counting error ≤ ±0.1%–0.4%. Minimal monitoring and correction ensures result accuracy. Thousand-grain weight analysis accuracy error: ≤ ±0.5%.
Sample records are maintained; input sample weight to automatically calculate thousand-grain weight. The analysis process is computer-controlled, ensuring efficient, accurate, and user-friendly operation with one-button counting analysis and thousand-grain weight measurement.
Analysis Data Export: Analysis image results can be saved, automatically generating a summary report. Statistical analysis results can be exported to Excel spreadsheets.
