The Soil Moisture Multi-Parameter Monitoring System is a sensor developed based on the principle of dielectric constant, enabling rapid, accurate, and comprehensive monitoring of moisture and temperature content across different soil layers.
The number of monitored layers is customizable, supporting measurement of soil temperature and humidity in a minimum of three layers and a maximum of ten layers. This product provides swift and comprehensive insights into soil moisture conditions, offering decision support for drought relief and disaster response to minimize damage. The product utilizes standard Modbus-RTU 485 communication with a maximum transmission distance of 2000 meters and supports secondary development. It is suitable for agricultural and rural affairs bureaus, universities, research institutes, water conservancy bureaus, environmental protection bureaus, enterprises, and public institutions.
The housing utilizes PVC plastic tubing, emitting high-frequency detection waves near 1 GHz internally. These waves penetrate the plastic tubing to effectively sense the soil environment.
Unaffected by salt ions in the soil, agricultural activities such as fertilizer application, pesticide use, and irrigation do not impact measurement results, ensuring accurate data.
The sensor's electrodes do not come into direct contact with the soil, preventing electrical interference with the soil and plants within it.
The product employs the standard Modbus-RTU 485 communication protocol, supporting communication distances up to 2000 meters.
Supports wide voltage charging from 10-30V.
Integrated design enables simultaneous monitoring of temperature and humidity across three soil layers.
