Product Introduction

The tubular soil moisture monitor, also known as a non-contact soil moisture meter or soil moisture measurement device, is a sensor based on the principle of dielectric constant. It enables dynamic observation of soil moisture content across different soil layers, providing rapid, accurate, and comprehensive monitoring to achieve high-level soil perception.

The monitoring system platform features a map interface for locating device positions. It allows intuitive viewing and querying of multiple data elements including new data, historical data, units, upper warning limits, lower warning limits, and status. Users can configure upper and lower limit parameters and review alarm records. Selected data lists can be quickly exported as Excel files. The platform supports binding multiple monitoring station devices simultaneously.

Product Features

  • A plastic pipe is pre-installed, with the main sensor housed inside. This allows for easy removal and replacement of the main sensor from the reserved pipe, facilitating maintenance and enabling high reusability.

  • The sensor can move vertically within the plastic pipe, enabling dynamic monitoring of soil moisture content across different soil layers.

  • Emits high-frequency detection waves near 1 GHz, capable of penetrating the plastic tube to effectively sense the soil environment.

  • Unaffected by soil salt ions, agricultural activities such as fertilizer application, pesticide use, and irrigation do not impact measurement results, ensuring precise data.

  • The sensor's electrodes do not come into direct contact with the soil, preventing electrical interference with the soil and plants within it.
