Fully automatic water bath nitrogen evaporators are essential for large-scale analytical work, particularly in environmental pollutant and food safety analysis. To obtain trace target components, pre-treatment of samples is required, involving fundamental steps such as sample extraction, concentration, purification, and re-concentration. Rapid, non-destructive concentration is a critical component of this process.
Common devices for concentration include rotary evaporators, K-D concentrators, and nitrogen blowers (abbreviated as nitrogen blowers). Among these, nitrogen blowing offers simplicity as it requires no specialized equipment design, making it convenient when sample quantities are small or solvent volumes are minimal. However, when concentrating large batches of samples with substantial solvent volumes, these methods become inefficient. The process becomes time-consuming and labor-intensive (requiring constant monitoring to prevent over-drying), and open-system nitrogen blowers pose health risks to operators.
The fully automated water bath nitrogen evaporator employs a unique concentration method that significantly increases evaporation rates. Simultaneously, the device utilizes an integrated exhaust fan to direct evaporated waste gases through an exhaust duct. This allows the nitrogen evaporator, traditionally housed in a fume hood, to be safely installed on a standard laboratory bench. Not only is it easily movable, reducing laboratory costs, but it also minimizes exposure to toxic and hazardous solvents for operators. It is an essential sample preparation device for laboratories.
Capable of concentrating single or multiple samples simultaneously without manual supervision: Multiple optical sensors monitor the concentration process of each sample. When evaporation reaches the preset volume, the system automatically halts nitrogen purging for the corresponding channel and triggers an alarm. The entire concentration process requires no human oversight.
Simple and safe operation: Flexible working parameter settings and convenient sample loading/unloading procedures ensure ease of use and quick mastery. Fully enclosed design with integrated exhaust system prevents water bath vapor and organic volatiles from affecting the instrument or operator.
Specialized airflow path and buffer design accelerates solvent evaporation while preventing splashing losses.
Zero sample contamination: All gas pathways and components utilize validated zero-contamination materials to prevent instrument-derived contamination.
Working parameters freely configurable, controllable, and displayed in real time: Key parameters—nitrogen blowing pressure, water bath temperature, and operating time—can be customized as needed.
Stable, constant nitrogen blowing pressure: The instrument's built-in automatic pressure regulation system maintains consistent gas flow pressure regardless of sudden changes in working channel status (sample opening/closing) or sample quantity.
