The Stömer viscometer is a testing instrument used to determine the viscosity of paints and other coatings expressed in KU values. It displays the KU value of the sample being tested, as well as the associated load value (in grams) and reference viscosity value (in cP).
Applications include the following areas:
Chemical Industry: Used to measure the viscosity of various chemical solutions, coatings, inks, adhesives, and more.
Food industry: Used to measure the viscosity of sauces, honey, dairy products, beverages, and more.
Pharmaceutical industry: Used to measure the viscosity of pharmaceutical solutions, gels, emulsions, and more.
Petroleum industry: Used to measure the viscosity of lubricating oils, fuel oils, asphalt, and more.
Research: Used for viscosity research and material property analysis in laboratories.
5-inch HD LCD color touchscreen with a user-friendly interface.
Features mechanical drive with manual joystick control for vertical adjustment, offering low noise and high portability.
High precision, high reliability, sensitive detection, and easy operation.
Recipe Storage: Automatically saves the current configuration and allows saving it as a recipe for easy reuse later.
Data Storage: Saves experimental data to facilitate analysis and ensure experiment reproducibility.
Data Export Function: Exports data to an Excel spreadsheet via a USB flash drive.
Can be connected to a host computer for more convenient operation.
Features temperature measurement, displaying the sample temperature during testing to provide a basis for experimental reproducibility.
Supports switching between Chinese and English.
Timer function: Allows setting a countdown timer for testing to ensure consistent conditions across multiple experiments.
Password protection: Restricts device access via a password.
Torque protection: Automatic protection against over-range conditions to prevent equipment damage.
Printer: Can be connected to an external printer (optional) to print test results, facilitating quick creation of sample test labels.
When used with a temperature-controlled device, it ensures samples are tested under constant temperature conditions, resulting in more stable and accurate results.
