The fully automatic potentiometric titrator is a precision instrument used in chemical analysis. It determines the concentration of specific components in a sample by automatically adding the titrant. This instrument operates based on the principle of potentiometric titration, which identifies the titration endpoint by monitoring changes in the cell's electromotive force during the titration process. The device complies with the 0.05 accuracy class specified in the national verification regulations JJG 814-2015 “Automatic Potentiometric Titrators,” meaning the maximum indicated value error is ±1.5%, and the repeatability of the indicated value is ≤0.2%.
The fully automatic potentiometric titrator is a fundamental laboratory instrument with extensive applications. It is widely used in food inspection, pharmaceutical testing, disease control, commodity inspection, water treatment, petroleum, chemical engineering, marine science, power generation, environmental protection, new energy, education, and scientific research.
The device supports potentiometric titration and pH measurement. Users can select different electrodes to perform various titrations such as acid-base titration, redox titration, precipitation titration, complexometric titration, and pH measurement.
Optional expansion modules for conductivity titration and permanent stop titration are available to meet diverse user requirements.
The device complies with all potentiometric titration methods specified in national standards. Users can select compatible electrodes based on testing needs.
Supports dynamic titration, volumetric titration, and manual titration modes. Titration endpoints can be preset or automatically detected, allowing users to select the optimal workflow based on sample characteristics.
Customizable calculation formulas can be pre-set according to chemical equations. After titration completion, the analyte concentration is automatically determined.
Titration methods can be programmed and saved as quick-access templates, allowing direct selection and execution during use. The device can store at least 100 titration methods.
The equipment functions as a standard manual titration apparatus for laboratory use, with a metering pump replacing the burette and magnetic stirring replacing manual shaking of the conical flask.
Three Practical Functions of the Instrument
(1) Degassing: Removes air bubbles from the burette or tubing to prevent titration errors caused by bubbles.
(2) Tubing Flushing: Fills the tubing with reagent using minimal consumption, saving reagent while reducing titration errors introduced by reagent mixing.
(3) Emptying: Collects residual liquid from tubing into the burette after experiments, preventing chemical spills during disassembly.
