The Nucleic Acid and Protein Analyzer (Ultramicro Spectrophotometer) is a spectroscopic analyzer specifically designed for modern life science laboratories. Based on UV-visible spectrophotometry, it employs micro-column surface tension detection and automatic three-pathlength switching technology to achieve precise quantitative analysis of nucleic acid and protein samples, offering high sensitivity, a wide dynamic range, excellent stability, and rapid testing. Featuring a color touchscreen interface, it supports cloud-based remote upgrades and detection data management, making it an ideal tool for micro-sample analysis in fields such as molecular biology, clinical testing, and research and education.
The core detection principle of this instrument is UV-Vis spectrophotometry. Based on the characteristic selective absorption of specific wavelengths of UV or visible light by target substances (such as nucleic acids and proteins) in a sample, the absorbance is directly proportional to the substance concentration, following the Lambert-Beer law. By measuring the absorbance of the sample at characteristic wavelengths, quantitative analysis of the sample’s composition is achieved.
The applicable standard is JJF 1836-2020, “Calibration Specification for Microvolumetric Spectrophotometers.”

Expanded Applications Across Multiple Industries: Suitable for food safety, agriculture, and environmental monitoring, providing testing tools for quality control and safety screening across various industries.
Android 10 operating system, 7-inch color touchscreen with integrated controls.
High-stability pulsed xenon lamp (PP value < 0.5%), custom light source flicker algorithm, long light source lifespan, minimal sample irritation, and protection for easily degradable samples.
Three wavelengths to accommodate common sample analysis.
UV-enhanced CMOS line-scan sensor featuring high UV sensitivity, high signal-to-noise ratio, and wide dynamic range.
Automatic switching between three path lengths (0.04 mm, 0.2 mm, 1.0 mm) ensures high sensitivity for low-concentration samples and eliminates the need for serial dilutions when testing high-concentration samples.
Liquid column surface tension technology enables immediate analysis with ultra-microvolume samples of 0.5–2 μL, significantly reducing sample loss.
Ultra-fast response, with results reported in seconds.
Integrated absorbance and fluorescence analysis. Comes standard with a single-channel OD600 module for measuring microbial culture concentrations; a high-sensitivity fluorescence module (excitation wavelength 470 nm) extends the lower limit of detection.
User-defined modeling capability for flexible handling of complex samples.
Built-in thermal printer for instant printing of experimental results; supports USB export of data to Excel.
The instrument can connect to the cloud for remote software updates; test data can also be uploaded wirelessly via Wi-Fi and managed through a client application.
7000 mAh lithium-ion battery provides 8 hours of runtime on a full charge, eliminating the risk of unexpected power outages without a UPS.
