Chlorophyll meter

The water chlorophyll meter consists of a portable main unit and a portable chlorophyll sensor. The chlorophyll sensor utilizes the characteristic that chlorophyll has absorption peaks and emission peaks in the spectrum. Monochromatic light is emitted at the chlorophyll absorption peak and irradiated into the water. The chlorophyll in the water absorbs the energy of the monochromatic light and emits another monochromatic light at the emission peak wavelength. The intensity of the emitted light is directly proportional to the chlorophyll content in the water.

The water chlorophyll meter is widely used in industries and fields such as aquaculture, surface water, and research institutions for on-site portable monitoring of chlorophyll in water.
