Product Introduction

The Plant Stomatal Meter is a research-grade instrument employing both open-path and closed-path measurement methods. It measures the effects of various factors on leaf stomatal behavior, enabling convenient, repeatable, and accurate calculation of stomatal resistance, stomatal conductance, and transpiration rates. It also measures air temperature and humidity, leaf surface temperature, and photosynthetically active radiation (PAR). It is widely used in studies of plant leaf water physiology, crop water use, water stress damage, and the effects of biocontrol regulation.

The plant stomatal analyzer employs both open-path and closed-path measurement methods. The leaf surface is placed in an open leaf chamber, allowing atmospheric air to enter the chamber at a specific flow rate. The humidity of the gas entering and exiting the leaf chamber is measured separately. The transpiration rate is then calculated based on the humidity difference between the gas entering and exiting the leaf chamber.
