The portable pesticide residue detector is primarily used for the rapid detection of organophosphorus and carbamate pesticides in fruits, vegetables, tea, grains, water, and soil. It is particularly suitable for on-site enforcement use by food safety testing institutions at all levels. Additionally, it can be used for on-site testing at fruit, vegetable, and tea production bases, agricultural wholesale markets, restaurants, canteens, and for safety testing of fruits and vegetables before processing in households.
Detection Principle: The portable pesticide residue detector uses a microcontroller to control parameters such as temperature and time, combined with biochemical reactions to perform semi-quantitative detection of organophosphorus and carbamate pesticides in vegetables, fruits, and other foods.
Biochemical Reaction Principle: The cholinesterase (white tablet) in the rapid test card catalyzes the hydrolysis of indophenol acetate (red tablet) into acetic acid and indophenol. Since organophosphorus and carbamate pesticides inhibit the activity of cholinesterase, the color change after hydrolysis is altered. Therefore, based on the intensity of the color, the presence of organophosphorus or carbamate pesticides in the sample can be determined.
